The developer will design, implement, and maintain full stack web applications that integrate AI services and machine learning APIs into both front-end and back-end workflows. Day-to-day responsibilities include building user interfaces, developing server-side logic, managing databases, and optimizing application performance and security. The role involves collaborating with product owners, designers, and other engineers to translate requirements into robust, maintainable code, as well as troubleshooting issues and refining features based on feedback. The developer will also participate in code reviews, documentation, and continuous improvement of development processes and tools.Qualifications Candidates should possess strong Back-End Web Development and Software Development skills for building secure, scalable server-side applications and APIs.Candidates should possess solid Front-End Development skills, including proficiency with Cascading Style Sheets (CSS), for creating responsive, accessible, and performant user interfaces.Candidates should possess Full-Stack Development skills to integrate front-end and back-end components, manage data flow, and ensure end-to-end reliability of AI-driven features.Relevant experience with integrating AI/ML services (e.g., model APIs, data pipelines) and working with modern web frameworks and libraries is beneficial.A good understanding of relational or NoSQL databases, version control (such as Git), testing practices, and secure coding principles is beneficial.Strong problem-solving abilities, clear communication, and the capacity to work collaboratively in an on-site team environment in Lafayette, LA are beneficial.A bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience, is beneficial.
