Reporting directly to the Director, you will lead an 80-FTE team to deliver exceptional, evidence-based care in a supportive, growth-focused environment.Why You'll Love Working HereMake a real difference in maternal and newborn outcomes within a tight-knit 19-bed L&D, 5-bed OBED, and 3 surgical suite settingLead, mentor, and inspire a diverse and passionate clinical teamWork collaboratively across departments to foster a high-performance, patient-centered cultureEnjoy a competitive salary paired with professional development opportunitiesKey ResponsibilitiesProvide 24/7 leadership and managerial oversight of the unit's day-to-day clinical operationsincluding scheduling, performance management, and quality assuranceEnsure compliance with Joint Commission, state, and federal regulatory standards; develop and sustain policies and procedures that support safe, reliable care deliveryRecruit, onboard, coach, and evaluate nursing staff; address performance issues in a timely and respectful mannerCollaborate with OB/GYN providers, anesthesiologists, neonatal and surgical teams to optimize patient flow and clinical outcomesManage departmental budgets, control labor costs and supply usage, and report directly to the DirectorServe as the on-call manager for PP/AP/LD every third weekavailable by phone for urgent escalations or emergency notificationsRequired QualificationsRN licensure (Associate Degree in Nursing or RN Diploma required; BSN preferred)1+ years of recent (within the last year) leadership experience in a Labor & Delivery environmentCurrent BLS certification; OB-specific certifications (e.g., RNC-OB, NRP) a plusDemonstrated ability to cultivate high?performing teams, drive quality initiatives, and manage change in a fast-paced clinical settingSkills & Core CompetenciesExceptional clinical leadership and interpersonal communication skillsProficiency with nurse staffing models, budget management, and operational workflowsStrong understanding of healthcare regulations and their impact on department performanceAnalytical mindset with excellence in problem solving and decision-makingTech-savvy with experience in EMR systems and MS Office tools
