Bilingual Event Staff (Temporary – Conference Support)Washington, DC (Convention Center – Metro Accessible)$20/hourDates: May 13–18, 2026OverviewNRI Staffing is seeking professional bilingual event staff to support a large-scale international conference at the Washington, DC Convention Center. This short-term opportunity is ideal for candidates who bring strong communication skills, professionalism, and the ability to engage confidently with high-level attendees in a fast-paced environment.Attendees will include physicians from across Latin America, so fluency in Spanish is required. Staff will play a key role in delivering a seamless event experience by supporting registration operations, managing attendee flow, and assisting guests throughout the venue.Assignments may include Registration, Express Check-In, Information Desk, Breakout Room Support, and Line Monitoring, all focused on ensuring efficient operations and a positive guest experience.ScheduleMay 13: Training day (registration staff)May 13–17: Event support (multiple shifts available)May 18: Limited shifts (breakdown support; fewer positions available)Shift times may vary between 6:00 AM – 6:00 PMDress Code: Black pants, white shirt, black shoes (clean sneakers acceptable). Red jacket provided onsite.Key Responsibilities:Provide excellent customer service to all attendeesAssist with registration, check-in, and badge distributionDirect guests to appropriate areas, sessions, or linesMonitor attendee flow and maintain organized entry pointsStaff information desks and respond to general inquiriesSupport breakout rooms and session logisticsAssist with event setup and breakdown as neededMaintain a professional and welcoming presence at all timesQualifications:Fully bilingual (Spanish required)Strong communication and customer service skillsProfessional demeanor and ability to work with high-level attendeesComfortable in a fast-paced, high-volume environmentReliable and punctual with the ability to commit to scheduled shiftsPrevious event, hospitality, or customer-facing experience is a plusAdditional Information:Location is Metro accessible; parking is not reimbursedMultiple positions available; priority given to strong, reliable candidatesNRI is an equal opportunity employer.
