Building on our success in substance use disorder care, we are continuing to grow our clinical leadership team to support high-quality, accessible care across markets.Our model combines licensed clinicians, innovative technology, and a deeply human approach to care—supporting individuals navigating substance use and co-occurring mental health conditions.As we expand in Oregon, we are seeking a Counselor Supervisor to lead, develop, and support a team of clinicians while helping drive strong clinical outcomes and operational excellence.About the RoleThis is a hybrid leadership role based in the Portland metro area. The Counselor Supervisor will oversee a team of counselors and therapists, ensuring high-quality care delivery, strong clinical performance, and alignment with Affect's treatment model.This role blends clinical supervision, team leadership, performance management, and program development—ideal for someone who enjoys building, coaching, and improving systems while staying connected to clinical work.Key ResponsibilitiesProvide individual and group clinical supervision to counselors and therapistsCoach clinicians on complex cases, clinical skill development, and adherence to treatment standardsDrive strong clinical outcomes and team performance, including productivity, engagement, and quality metricsMonitor and ensure timely documentation, billing accuracy, and compliance standardsSupport caseload and utilization management, including scheduling optimization and panel adjustmentsConduct chart reviews, audits, and performance evaluationsPartner with clinical leadership, operations, and medical teams to ensure smooth day-to-day care deliverySupport training, onboarding, and ongoing development of cliniciansContribute to new program initiatives, protocols, and quality improvement effortsMaintain a small clinical caseload as needed to support operations and remain connected to care deliveryParticipate in hiring and help build a strong, mission-aligned teamRequirementsActive and independent Oregon license: LCSW or LPCMinimum 2+ years of experience as an independent clinicianPrior experience supervising clinicians (required)Ability to supervise clinicians across substance use and mental health treatmentWillingness to work in-office in the Portland metro areaAbility to maintain a Monday–Friday scheduleStrong communication and leadership skills, with the ability to manage across teamsExperience supporting documentation standards, utilization, and performance managementComfort working in a structured, fast-paced clinical environmentPreferredExperience leading teams and managing clinical staff performanceExperience with hiring, onboarding, or training cliniciansFamiliarity with local Oregon treatment landscape and community resourcesThe Benefits of Joining AffectCompetitive salary (commensurate with experience and leadership background)Full-time employees may enroll in medical, dental, and vision coverageEmployer-paid life and disability insurance401(k) plan eligibilityPaid vacation, sick time, company holidays, and parental leaveOpportunity to lead and shape a growing clinical teamCollaborative, mission-driven culture focused on impact and innovationWhy Join UsAt Affect, you'll do more than supervise—you'll build, lead, and elevate a team delivering meaningful care every day.
