In this role, you will report to the Systems Engineering Manager. Your responsibilities may include:Derive requirements and interfaces and support specification development in DOORSBe accountable for developing, updating, coordinating, and supporting verification of a subsystem requirement specificationSupport the full life cycle of assigned subsystems or components all the way through development, test, analysis, verification, and flight testSupport assessments of key performance parameters, technical performance measures, and requirement complianceSupport formal system design reviewsSupport interface definition and integration of subsystems and components across the broader systemParticipate in interdisciplinary engineering efforts as part of a hypersonic development project, necessitating adaptability and flexibility in response to evolving program requirements and timelines across geographically dispersed locationsUse your excellent communication skills and self-motivating drive to work across Lockheed Martin business areas to progress towards a common goalAbout The Locations: You can learn more about Huntsville, AL and Denver, CO.About Lockheed Martin Benefits: Learn more about Lockheed Martin's comprehensive benefits package.Basic Qualifications:Experience as a Systems EngineerExperience developing, deriving, and/or verifying requirementsExperience performing requirement traceability gap analysisDemonstrated history of applying core systems engineering principles and processesEligibility to obtain a DoD Secret Security Clearance - U.S. Citizenship is requiredDesired Skills:4+ years experience in Systems EngineeringABET Accredited Bachelor's degree in engineering field (Electrical Engineering is strongly preferred)Experience as a systems engineer executing a missile or hypersonics development programExperience achieving a successful flight testExperience writing requirements specifications and verifying requirementsProficient at DOORSExperience contributing to major milestone reviews (SRR, PDR, CDR)Experience developing PowerPoint slides and formally briefing customers and executivesExcellent interpersonal and communication skills to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholdersActive or Current DoD Secret Security ClearancePay Information Full-Time Salary Range: $85300.00 - $158300.00 At Lockheed Martin, we know mission success starts with taking care of our people.
