Project Coordinator
Job description:The person recruited to this position will play a vital and significant role as our technology based Project Coordinator. We are looking for a detailed oriented person with a broad range of technician experiences, a strong work ethic, and the ability to communicate effectively. The ideal candidate will have experience in each of these areas and possess the ability to learn and comprehend quickly. The position may require travel up to 5% and will require customer facing work.The Project Coordinator will work closely with project managers, clients, field technicians, technology partners, and help desk to ensure the highest possible level of on-site services and will be responsible for ensuring technician services are completed successfully at client sites. In addition, this position must have the technical skills, user experience knowledge, and customer service skills to further establish customer relationships.This position will be responsible for documentation of new customer projects. In addition, when necessary, the Project Coordinator will provide technical support and provide remote support to team members ensuring the technical aspects of projects are clearly understood.ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.Liaise extensively with external clients through succinct and appropriate communicationPlan, direct, and coordinate technician field service activities across multiple clients and projectsComplete a variety of small to large scale projects, solving complex problems, and implementing the project within a specified timeManage a detailed plan (schedule) to ensure the project is completed on time and meets client’s goalsAttend recurring status meetings with internal teams and clients and provide status reportsResponsible for scheduling technician services and managing to completion all technician work activities (cabling, wireless networks, routers, switches, Point-of-Sale registers, desktops/laptops, and phone system installations, etc…)Respond proactively to customer service needs, identified training, and technical supportCollaborate with team members on project requirements within and across projectsWork with clients and field technicians, to design, develop and enhance technician service solutions and proceduresBe fiscally responsible for and understand the fiscal impact of project work, operations, and functionsManage vendor and technician relationships; manage performance, out of scope requests, costs, and scheduling conflictsUnderstand business objectives of assigned projectsWork on multiple tasks simultaneouslyAdapt to new technology solutions utilized by clientsTravel up to 5% of time to North American client locations, as neededInteract professionally with fellow employees, clients, and vendorsREQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:Bachelor’s Degree or working towards Bachelor’s Degree – Business, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or Information Technology emphasis preferredWillingness and aptitude to learn unfamiliar systems, and to stay informed of new technologiesExceptional service orientationExcellent written and oral communication skillsStrong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate with a variety of audiencesSuperior interpersonal skills necessary to communicate complex information to various internal and external personnel in a clear, concise and well-organized fashion Exceptional attention to detail.Exceptionally self-motivated and directed.Must be comfortable with fast-paced, entrepreneurial corporate culture and the standards and work ethic consistent with that environmentAbility to create and sustain a positive environment for clients and associates through leadership, proper training and coachingDESIRED QUALIFICATIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:Experience in a corporate retail environmentExperience working with a help desk support teamExperience as a field technician with exposure to field services, such as cabling, wireless networks, routers, switches, Point-of-Sale registers, desktops/laptops, and phone system installations, etc…Experience with access control systems (cameras, sensors, key cards, etc.)Possess a strong knowledge of operating procedures and systems and ability to ensure procedures and systems are being followedSuccessful independent management experience with a proactive approach to identifying opportunities for improvement and implementing successful solutionsAbility to set and manage priorities judiciouslyStrong negotiating skillsTechnical experience in these areas: Ethernet cabling installation, network installation and configuration, wireless site surveys, wireless installations and configurations, PC installations and configurations, Point of Sale terminal installation and configuration, Point of Sale terminal software configurations and troubleshooting, and Phone System installations and configurationsVendor relationship experienceJob Type: Full-timePay: $55,000.00 - $65,000.00 per yearBenefits:401(k)401(k) matchingDental insuranceFlexible spending accountHealth insuranceVision InsuranceHealth savings accountLife insurancePaid time offReferral programTuition reimbursementAdditional Benefits: Birthday Lunch, Paid Birthday Off, Work Anniversary Lunch, Ice Cream Fridays, Terrific Taco Tuesday, Bingo and more!Work Location: Hybrid remote in Minneapolis, MN 55437
