Our organization has an established SDLC control framework and control definitions in place. The consultant s primary responsibility will be to translate these existing controls into meaningful, automated reporting and dashboards that provide visibility into control adoption, compliance, exceptions, and trends.The ideal candidate has experience working with software engineering metrics, governance, risk and compliance (GRC), data analytics, and executive reporting.Key ResponsibilitiesReview and understand the existing SDLC control framework, control definitions, and reporting requirements.Identify and document data sources required to measure each control.Design reporting architecture and data models that support scalable SDLC control reporting.Build interactive dashboards and scorecards for engineering leadership, risk, compliance, and executive stakeholders.Develop automated reporting that measures control compliance, control effectiveness, and team, application, and portfolio-level performance.Establish data quality validation and reconciliation processes.Collaborate with engineering, security, DevOps, platform teams, and governance stakeholders to validate metrics and reporting.Document dashboard logic, metric definitions, data lineage, and reporting processes.Provide knowledge transfer and documentation to enable ongoing maintenance by internal teams.Required Qualifications5+ years of experience developing enterprise reporting and dashboards.Experience working with SDLC, DevSecOps, software engineering, or technology governance.Strong understanding of software development lifecycle processes and engineering metrics.Experience translating business and compliance requirements into measurable KPIs and dashboards.Strong SQL and data analysis skills.Experience integrating data from multiple enterprise systems using APIs or ETL processes.Excellent stakeholder communication and requirements gathering skills.Please prioritize candidates with deep Elastic Stack experience and make sure they can speak in detail about what they personally built using Elasticsearch and Kibana before submitting.
