Job Description Solid Rock Recruiting: #1 Building Envelope/Cladding Recruiter in the USA POSITION: Building Envelope/Cladding Estimator LOCATION: Holly Springs/Canton GACOMPANY OVERVIEW: Our client is a leading building envelope contractor specializing in commercial exterior systems. They're seeking an experienced Estimator to join their team and drive growth through accurate estimating and pre-construction services.POSITION SUMMARY: The Building Envelope/Cladding Estimator will be responsible for preparing detailed cost estimates for commercial projects, specializing in various exterior systems including stucco, EIFS, plaster, fiber cement panels, and exterior restoration work.KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:• Prepare detailed quantity takeoffs and cost estimates for building envelope systems• Analyze project drawings, specifications, and contract documents• Develop accurate material, labor, and equipment costs• Specialize in estimating for:Stucco systemsEIFS (Exterior Insulation Finish System)Plaster applicationsFiber cement panel systemsBacker rod and caulkingExterior restoration projects• Coordinate with suppliers and subcontractors for pricing• Participate in pre-bid meetings and site visits• Assist in value engineering and alternative system recommendations• Support project handoff to operations team• Maintain historical cost data and estimating databasesREQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS• 5+ years of estimating experience in building envelope systems • Strong knowledge of stucco, EIFS, and related systems • Proficiency in On-Center (OST, Quickbid) takeoff and estimating software • Experience with blueprint reading and specification analysis • Strong mathematical and analytical skills • Excellent attention to detail • Strong communication and presentation abilities • Proficient in MS Office SuitePREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field • Experience with Bluebeam, On-Screen Takeoff, or similar software • EIFS manufacturer certifications • Knowledge of building codes and industry standards • Experience with historical restoration projects • HAAG certification a plusTECHNICAL SKILLS• Proficient in digital takeoff software • Experience with construction estimating programs • Understanding of construction scheduling software • Knowledge of project management platformsBENEFITS• Competitive base salary • Performance-based bonuses • Comprehensive health insurance • 401(k) with company match • Paid time off and holidays • Professional development opportunities • Company laptop and required technology • Potential for hybrid work scheduleWORK ENVIRONMENT• Office-based position with occasional site visits • Some travel required for project estimation • Team-oriented environment • Fast-paced, deadline-driven atmosphereSUCCESS FACTORS• Strong organizational and time management skills • Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously • Detail-oriented with high accuracy in calculations • Strong problem-solving abilities • Excellent interpersonal skillsTo apply for this position or learn more about this opportunity, please contact Solid Rock Recruiting at (605) 502-1385. or apply to this posting.
