Director – Risk Management Regulatory Reporting (New York)OverviewThis is a high-impact Director-level opportunity within a leading global financial institution undergoing significant investment in its regulatory reporting and risk infrastructure. The role offers the chance to take ownership of a critical regulatory function, shaping and enhancing the end-to-end FR Y-14 reporting framework at a time of increasing regulatory scrutiny and transformation.You will play a central role in building scalable systems, improving data quality, and driving automation across counterparty credit risk reporting. With strong visibility across senior stakeholders, this position sits at the heart of risk, finance, and front office collaboration, giving you the opportunity to influence key processes, lead strategic change initiatives, and help define best-in-class regulatory reporting standards.Key ResponsibilitiesOwn FR Y-14Q (Schedule L) and FR Y-14A reporting (stressed & unstressed)Lead counterparty credit risk reporting across securities and derivatives dataBuild and manage reporting infrastructure (data sourcing, calculations, controls)Ensure regulatory compliance and alignment with supervisory expectationsDesign and implement scalable reporting processes and systemsOversee data governance, validation, and issue remediationCoordinate cross-functional stakeholders (Risk, Finance, Front Office, Technology)Act as SME for Schedule L methodology and reporting requirementsSupport regulatory exams, audits, and CCAR processesKey Requirements10+ years in risk management, regulatory reporting, or stress testingStrong expertise in FR Y-14 (A & Q), especially Schedule LExperience with counterparty credit risk (derivatives and securities exposure)Solid understanding of CCAR / capital stress testing frameworksProven experience building reporting frameworks and data pipelinesStrong stakeholder management across complex banking environments
