The Rota Governess will be responsible for offering education and developmental support to children within a private household. Responsibilities include planning and executing educational activities, creating schedules, assisting with homework, and ensuring a safe, nurturing environment. The role also involves collaborating with other household staff, handling some organizational tasks, and maintaining high standards of childcare. The Rota Governess must demonstrate flexibility to adapt to the family's needs and work in a rotational schedule. QualificationsChildcare and education skills, including experience in tutoring, helping with academic activities, and creating engaging learning opportunities.Organizational and scheduling skills to manage multiple tasks, plan children's schedules, and coordinate with other household staff.Strong interpersonal and communication skills to work closely with children, parents, and team members respectfully and effectively.Experience working in private households, preferably within a rota schedule, and the ability to adapt to the specific needs of the family.Knowledge of child development, safety protocols, and best practices for childcare.Relevant certifications or training in education or childcare would be considered an asset.Commitment to maintaining professionalism, discretion, and a high level of service at all times.
