Job SummaryMeltech Corporation is seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager / Project Executive to lead and oversee federal ground-up (build) and vertical construction projects from preconstruction through closeout.This role requires a hands-on leader with real field experience, capable of managing sitework, foundations, structural systems, and full building construction, while maintaining strict compliance with federal requirements.Required Experience – Please Read Before ApplyingDo not apply if you do not meet the following requirements:Direct experience managing ground-up / vertical construction projects (not limited to interiors or tenant fit-outs)Proven experience with sitework, utilities, excavation, foundations, and structural construction (steel/concrete)Active Secret Clearance (required)Experience managing federal construction projects (GSA, VA, DoD, etc.)Strong field coordination and subcontractor management experienceAbility to manage project schedules, budgets, and real-time jobsite issuesResponsibilitiesManage multiple federal construction projects from start to finishOversee daily construction operations and field coordinationEnsure proper sequencing of trades (site → structure → finishes)Manage subcontractors, schedules, and performance onsiteTrack project budgets, costs, and forecastingHandle change orders, REAs, and contract complianceCoordinate with government clients, CORs, and contracting officersMaintain all project documentation (RFIs, submittals, reports, closeout)Ensure compliance with FAR, safety standards, and quality control processesLead project teams and support overall project executionQualifications10+ years of construction project management experienceStrong background in federal constructionProven experience managing ground-up projectsExperience with Sage 300, Procore, Primavera, or similar systemsExcellent leadership, communication, and organizational skillsAbility to manage multiple projects simultaneouslyPreferred QualificationsBachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related fieldPMP certificationUSACE CQM certification (or equivalent)Experience in secure or occupied federal facilitiesWork LocationLandover, MD with travel to project sites as requiredCompensation & BenefitsCompetitive salary (based on experience)Health, dental, and vision insurance401(k)Paid time offCareer growth opportunitiesBenefits:401(k)401(k) matchingDental insuranceHealth insuranceLife insurancePaid time offVision insuranceSecurity clearance (A plus)Work Location: In person
