Role Description This full-time, on-site Engineering Field Technician role is based in Midland, TX. Responsibilities include collecting and analyzing materials samples, performing field and laboratory testing for soil, concrete, aggregate, and asphalt, and utilizing test equipment to ensure compliance with project specifications. The role involves troubleshooting field issues, maintaining accurate records, and effectively communicating findings to team members and clients while ensuring safety and quality protocols are followed. Qualifications Strong Analytical Skills and ability to interpret test results to ensure precision in material evaluationEffective Communication skills for reporting findings and collaborating with team members and stakeholdersProficiency in Troubleshooting and problem-solving to address field and equipment-related issues efficientlyHands-on experience with Soldering and working with construction materialsKnowledgeable in the use of Test Equipment for materials testing and quality assuranceAbility to work in an outdoor setting and adhere to health and safety protocolsHigh school diploma or equivalent required; associate or technical degree preferredExperience in construction materials testing or engineering fieldwork is a plusValid driver’s license and reliable transportation is required
