We're ready tolight the way, will you join us?About the RoleAs a Sr. Project Manager (Electrical Construction), you will be responsiblefor planning, directing, and coordinating all aspects of assigned projects toensure successful execution within defined timelines and budgets. You will beaccountable for achieving project goals by managing resources, schedules, andstakeholder expectations, either directly or through the leadership ofsubordinate supervisors.Essential Duties & ResponsibilitiesTrain, manage, and mentor a team of Project Managers, Project Engineers, andEstimators (as applicable) to ensure high performance and professional growthMaintain and strengthen client relationships while identifying and pursuingnew business opportunitiesLead or support the proposal and estimating process, including preparingestimates using Accubid software and submitting comprehensive project proposalsReview project proposals and plans to define timelines, procedures, staffingneeds, and resource allocation for each project phaseDevelop detailed work plans and coordinate recruitment or assignment ofproject personnelEnforce company safety policies and procedures across all project activitiesto ensure a safe work environmentMaintain and update project data in project management software, including:Estimate logsLabor trackingChange ordersRFIs and transmittalsMonthly financial reportsDaily job journalsManage the schedule of values and collaborate with the project assistant toensure accurate and timely billingPrepare and review submittals and shop drawings; in design-build projects,ensure drawings are accurate, submitted for approval, and distributed to fieldpersonnelOversee the change order process, including timely preparation, pricing(using Accubid), negotiation, and documentationMaintain consistent communication with general contractors and keystakeholders throughout the project lifecycleAttend required project meetings and represent the company professionallyEnsure all permitting requirements are identified, obtained, and maintainedthroughout the projectManage subcontractor and vendor performance, ensuring compliance withproject requirements and company standardsProvide ongoing support to field supervision to ensure alignment betweenproject plans and field executionOversee the lien process to protect Cochran's contractual and legal rightsIn this role, you will have the opportunity to:Manage change effectively by identifying issues early, analyzing informationthoroughly, developing actionable implementation plans, and communicatingchanges clearly across teamsLead projects from initiation through completion, ensuring they aredelivered on time and within budget while effectively prioritizing and planningwork activitiesDeliver exceptional customer service by responding promptly andprofessionally to client needs, service requests, and commitmentsFoster strong interpersonal relationships by resolving conflictsconstructively, welcoming feedback, and contributing to a respectful,team-oriented environmentCommunicate with clarity and confidence, both verbally and in writing, whilepresenting data effectively and engaging with stakeholders in a persuasive andprofessional mannerApply sound business judgment by understanding the broader impact ofdecisions and aligning daily work with organizational goals and strategicprioritiesPromote and enforce safety standards across all project teams, ensuringcompliance with company policies and jobsite proceduresLead and develop team members by encouraging growth, building trust,motivating performance, and cultivating a positive, high-performing team cultureWe are looking for someone with the following competencies:Bachelor's degree from a four-year college or university, or a minimum ofeight years of relevant experience and/or training;
