Senior Data Scientist, Business Intelligence About the Role: We’re looking for a skilled and visionary Senior Data Scientist to help us transform how we use data to drive business decisions. In this role, you will go beyond traditional reporting to build advanced predictive and prescriptive models that empower our teams to take proactive action, optimize performance, and enhance customer value. As a Senior Data Scientist, you’ll collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including BI Engineering, Reporting Analysts, and key business stakeholders, to develop and deploy data-driven solutions that integrate seamlessly into daily decision-making processes. Key Responsibilities: Predictive & Prescriptive Modeling: Design and implement machine learning models to forecast outcomes and recommend actions that drive business success. Continuously monitor, validate, and improve model performance, ensuring long-term reliability. Transform business signals into actionable, forward-looking insights. Enterprise Integration: Partner with data engineering to integrate models into business intelligence and core operational systems. Enable AI-assisted workflows and ensure models are aligned with the business's operational cadence. Work closely with reporting teams to convert complex predictions into clear, business-friendly insights. Business Partnership: Collaborate with domain and operations leaders across the business to identify high-impact use cases for machine learning. Evaluate model performance and ROI to ensure we’re focusing on the highest-value projects. Develop early warning systems for risk mitigation and performance optimization. Responsible AI & Data Governance: Ensure models adhere to governance standards, are transparent, and provide trusted, explainable outputs. Contribute to the development of data quality, lineage, and feature store best practices. Document model explainability to ensure leadership has confidence in AI-driven decisions. Skills & Experience: Required: 5–8 years of hands-on experience in applied data science or machine learning engineering. Proficiency in Python, SQL, and modern machine learning frameworks (e.g., sklearn, XGBoost). Strong foundation in statistics, experimentation, and model evaluation techniques. Proven ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams to operationalize machine learning models. Excellent communication skills, with the ability to distill complex technical concepts for non-technical stakeholders. Preferred: Experience with SaaS or product analytics, including adoption and retention modeling. Familiarity with DevOps/ML Ops practices for managing the model lifecycle. Knowledge of customer health, product telemetry, or support analytics. Understanding of bias mitigation, explainability, and ML governance best practices. Why Join Us?
