Generalist with experience in chemistry, hematology, coag, urinalysis, kit testing, blood bank and processing Typical shifts are 3x12 1700-0530 + 8hr shift every other week 1900-0530 No call Float required 2-4 week advance scheduling ASCP - MLS or MT preferred 1-2 years min exp NO first time-time travelers COVID vaccine required Scrub Color: royal blue top purchased through the IU Health uniform shop, black pants • Requires Bachelor's degree in a related science (Certification is not required); Associate Degree in an approved Medical Laboratory Technician Program or a Medical Laboratory Specialist (Laboratory Technician) certification from an official military medical laboratory procedures course of at least 50 weeks duration, dependent on when coursework was completed. • Associate degree requires certification (NCA, AMT, ASCP, HEW, and CLA) within 12 months of employment.
