Job DetailsDescriptionJob SummaryThe Grounds Maintenance Associate supports the daily upkeep of the resort by maintaining outdoor areas, landscaping, and common spaces. Reporting to the Chief Engineer, this role helps ensure the property remains clean, safe, and guest-ready.ResponsibilitiesMaintain common spaces through planting, mulching, and general outdoor upkeepPerform routine property maintenance, debris removal, trash collection, and minor repairsOperate landscaping tools and equipment including blowers, trimmers, drills, and other power toolsMonitor irrigation systems and report or address basic issues as neededRemove storm debris, fallen branches, and other outdoor hazardsKeep roadways, guest areas, and resort grounds clean and presentableIdentify maintenance or safety concerns and communicate them to managementFollow all company safety guidelines and operating proceduresAssist with additional property projects and operational tasks as assignedQualificationsHigh school diploma or equivalent preferredPrevious maintenance or groundskeeping experience preferredComfortable working outdoors in varying weather conditionsExperience using landscaping equipment and hand toolsValid driver’s license requiredAbility to work independently and within a team environmentAble to lift up to 50 lbs.Flexible availability including nights, weekends and holidaysPosition Details & BenefitsFull-time seasonal opportunityFlexible scheduling requiredBenefits may include Paid Sick Time, 401(k) with company match, travel discounts, and additional team member perkSun Outdoors is an Equal Opportunity EmployerEOE / AA / M / F / Veterans / Disabled / Drug-Free Workplace
