Job OverviewThe North Carolina Department of Health and Human Services is actively seeking a dedicated Child Welfare Trainer/Content Developer for a one-year contract position. This hybrid role requires candidates to reside in the Raleigh area and entails approximately 30% statewide travel, including potential evening and weekend commitments.Key ResponsibilitiesAnalyze the functionality of the Child Welfare Information System (CWIS) to design and develop effective training solutions.Create and deliver both facilitator-led classroom training and eLearning courses tailored to support the implementation of CWIS.Collaborate closely with the Training Lead, Agile and Business Teams, Development Team, and other subject matter experts to ensure comprehensive understanding of training requirements.Develop and maintain Adobe FrameMaker templates and scripts, alongside revising training materials aimed at adult learners.Facilitate engaging training sessions for personnel overseeing and administering Child Welfare programs within CWIS.Required SkillsMinimum of 3 years of experience in instructional design and development of training materials for adult learners.Proven ability in creating interactive media presentations to enhance online educational experiences.Familiarity with Learning Management System (LMS) technologies, such as Moodle, XML, and HTML.Competence in business analysis and proficiency in the MS Office Suite (including MS Word, MS Excel, and MS PowerPoint).QualificationsCandidates should have at least a Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in a relevant field.A minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in curriculum development and training delivery is essential.Career Growth OpportunitiesJoining our team provides the opportunity to significantly impact the training and implementation processes that support vital child welfare programs.
