Food Runner

Job Description: Food runners support the servers in providing a seamless and efficient dining experience for our Guests. Helping to transport food from the kitchen, and fill in with guest requests and clean up as needed provides an additional layer of support for the Guest experience.Essential Functions:Expedite food for servers that comes out of the pass-through windowIntroduce food when it is dropped off at the tableMust be knowledgeable about the food and comfortable answering questions about the menuFulfill customer requests such as retrieving utensils, drinks, or refillsCommunicate new orders to the server in their sectionAssist with settling tablesSpot-clean the floor around tablesChange grills for Guests as needed or upon requestAssist bussers with clearing tables as neededPerform additional duties as assignedMinimum Qualifications:High School Diploma or GED certificateExcellent interpersonal communication skillsDemonstrated commitment to providing exceptional Guest service; service oriented with a "Guests come first" mentalityPossesses a friendly, outgoing, positive and enthusiastic attitudeAbility to be professional and courteous with general publicAble to exercise good judgment while working both independently and collaboratively; works well in a team environmentAble to work in a noisy and sometimes chaotic environment and be flexible under a variety of circumstancesPunctual, neat, and accurate in work habits; precise and detail-orientedAbility to work evenings, weekends, holidays and extended schedules during peak periodsThe ability to adjust to business needs and display a sense or urgency during peak hours.Valid ServSafe Food Handler's CertificateValid Responsible Beverage Service (RBS) CertificatePhysical DemandsAble to move from place to place which may include standing and/or walking for extended periods of timeLift and carry 45 lbs short distancesDress Code: Black button-up and black pants, non-slip shoesPay Range: $16.50/hr to $21.50/hr + TipsEmber Korean BBQ is proud to be an equal opportunity employer and values diversity, inclusion and respect.
