Front Office Administrator

Bailey Plastic SurgeryWe are a new plastic surgery practice (Just under 1 year old) looking to continue to focus our patient care in South and Central Austin and build upon what has already started. We take care of both cosmetic and reconstruction patients with plans to grow. We are looking for someone to help organize and manage the day to day of the office. You will be the first voice a patient hears when they call and the first face they see when they walk in the door. The ideal person for this position has some experience in the medical field (although not required). The ideal candidate is very dependable, detail-oriented, great time management skills, fast learner and eager for career growth.Role DescriptionThis is a full-time on-site role (can be a part-time role) for a Front Office employee based in Austin, TX. The Front Office Administrator will be responsible for daily front office operations including appointment scheduling, providing administrative assistance, and delivering excellent customer service. The role will involve performing receptionist duties such as greeting patients, answering phone calls, and managing patient check-in and check-out processes.QualificationsProficiency in appointment scheduling and administrative assistanceStrong customer service skillsExperience with front office operations and receptionist dutiesExcellent organizational and time management skillsStrong communication skills, both written and verbalAbility to multitask and work in a fast-paced environmentHigh school diploma or equivalent; additional qualifications as an Administrative Assistant or Secretary will be a plusRole ResponsibilitiesIntake patient including answer phones, make schedules, take and relay messages and provide information to patients and handle patient inquiriesDocument patient information, collect copayments and other balances dueVerify patient insurance and navigate insurance pre-authorizationCoordinate and oversee administrative systems/proceduresCoordinate and plan surgical schedules with other doctors offices and hospitalsWilling to work with a wide array of people and coordinate a busy schedule including hospital scheduling, patients, medical rep personnel
