Automotive Technician

Job Description We are currently seeking ​an Automotive Technician to become an integral part of our team! You will diagnose, adjust, repair, and overhaul automotive vehicles.Responsibilities:Inspect the vehicle engine and mechanical/electrical components to diagnose issues accuratelyInspect the vehicle computer and electronic systems to repair, maintain, and upgradeConduct routine maintenance work (replacing fluids, lubricating parts, etc.), aiming at vehicle functionality and longevitySchedule future maintenance sessions and advise motorists on good vehicle useRepair or replace broken or dysfunctional parts and fix issues (e.g., leaks)Provide accurate estimates (cost, time, effort) for a repair or maintenance job​Qualifications:3 years of experience as an automotive technician or mechanic is requiredA New York State Inspector's license is preferredKnowledge of diagnostic and repair equipmentStrong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skillsDeadline and detail-orientedCompany DescriptionJK Automotive treats each client with attentiveness and care, providing comprehensive service for you and your car.
