StatusHourly, $17.00/hour, Evenings & Weekends Job ResponsibilitiesStocking:Stock displays fully without overcrowding; face items on shelvesRotate older stock to front, making space for new stockPull short-date or low quality items and follow established departmental procedures for recording and disposing of themLabel items accurately with price tags or signs as needed. Report price discrepancies to buyers Customer Service:Assist customers with product questions in a prompt, friendly, courteous manner, referring them to other staff when necessaryOffer suggestions for purchases and ways to prepare productsHelp customers place Special Orders ReceivingIn absence of Receiver, check deliveries to verify piece count and notify purchaser of discrepanciesCheck for damage and unacceptable quality, notify purchaser of discrepanciesHelp with unloading deliveries as neededSign for deliveries with appropriate adjustments noted on invoice and route invoice to buyerRotate overstock into storage Department Maintenance:Keep shelves, coolers, and bins in clean, orderly conditionRemove cardboard and trash promptlySweep and mop floorMonitor cooler and freezer temperatures when working in those areasReport equipment malfunctions/problems to appropriate parties as per departmental proceduresUse equipment following all appropriate safely proceduresParticipate in inventory as assigned Additional:Attend Department and store meetingsPerform other tasks assigned by supervisor Full-Time/Part-TimeFull-Time and/or Part-Time Open Date2/24/2026 PositionGrocery, Associate Position RequirementsQualifications:Ability to safely and consistently lift up to 50 lbs throughout a shiftAbility to work shifts with constant standing throughout work day and frequent kneeling, squatting, bending, reachingAbility to work in cold areas (coolers, freezers) for extended periodsAbility to handle multiple demandsExperience serving the publicFamiliarity with natural foods a plusBasic arithmetic skillsFamiliarity with basic office computer functions including spreadsheets, email, internetExperience with computer Point-of-Sale systems a plus ShiftVarious Shifts This position is currently accepting applications.
