Transactional Attorney – Labor & Employment (Plaintiff-Side)

About the Role An established California plaintiff-side Labor & Employment firm is seeking a Transactional Attorney to join its growing team. This role focuses on drafting, reviewing, and editing a high volume of employment-related agreements and legal documents using structured templates. This is an excellent opportunity for an attorney who enjoys precision drafting, contract refinement, and high-volume document workflow within a fast-paced litigation environment. Prior experience in Labor & Employment Law is not required. Attorneys with backgrounds in real estate law, corporate law, business law, or other transactional-heavy practices are encouraged to apply. Training & Work Structure The first 4–5 months will be full-time in-office in Beverly Hills for training and integration. After the training period, the position may transition to: Fully remote Hybrid Or remain fully on-site Work structure will depend on performance and preference. Responsibilities Review, edit, and finalize a high volume of legal agreements using firm templates Draft and refine employment-related contracts and settlement documents Ensure accuracy, consistency, and compliance with California law Collaborate with litigation attorneys to align transactional documents with case strategy Maintain organized document workflow in a fast-paced environment Qualifications Active California Bar license 1+ years of drafting or transactional experience (any practice area) Strong writing, editing, and document-review skills Detail-oriented with the ability to manage high-volume assignments Comfortable working from structured templates and improving contract language Ability to work on-site in Beverly Hills during the initial training period (4 to 5 months) Preferred (Not Required) Experience drafting contracts in real estate, corporate, business, or employment settings Familiarity with California Labor Code Experience working in a high-volume legal environment Compensation & Benefits Competitive compensation Long-term growth opportunity within established plaintiff-side practice Flexible work structure after training period Job Type: Full-time Pay: $100,000.00 - $140,000.00 per year Benefits: Health insurance Life insurance Paid time off Application Question(s): How many years of experience as a licensed California attorney do you have?
