It's how we show our appreciation!RequirementsA DAY IN THE LIFE OF AN ASSISTANT MANAGERResponsibilitiesAs an assistant manager, you play a key role in marketing our community and keeping it leased. You also play a huge role in helping ensure our residents are happy with their residences. By working closely with the property manager, your main responsibilities are:Completing lease agreements and collecting application fees, security deposits, and rent payments Ensuring all model apartments and ready units are in immaculate condition Understand and enforce lease terms and community policies, fair housing laws and standardsGain extensive knowledge of property amenities, rental rates, unit sizes, etc...Post notices and reminders when needed and walk apartments assessing damagesProperly maintain all resident files, and play an active role in the renewal process You are always reliable and responsible and provide excellent customer service for our residents You find great satisfaction in completing projects and helping people find solutions to their problems, which is what makes you a great fit.Qualifications For An Assistant ManagerRequired to maintain a regular schedule which may require working outside business hours, weekends and non- traditional holidaysMust be able to walk the property which includes climbing stairsAble to sit, bend, stoop, squat, kneel, climb stairs, push, pull, reach, carry supplies and stand for extended periods of timeAbility to lift, push and pull up to 25 poundsWriting routine reports and correspondenceCommunicating effectively with prospective residents, current residents, co-workers, and vendorsBilingual in Spanish and English requiredCalculating figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, pro-rations, and percentagesDo you have excellent verbal and written communications skills?
