At SC Data Center, Inc. we are building creative solutions to grow and innovate our business.What You'll Do:As a Software Developer, you'll partner with Product Owners, business stakeholders, and fellow developers to design, build, and support scalable enterprise software solutions.In this role, you will:Design and develop backend business applications using C# and .NETBuild and maintain RESTful APIs supporting enterprise financial and payment systemsModernize legacy applications into cloud-native services running in AWSDevelop scalable microservices and event-driven solutionsCollaborate on architecture, technical design, estimation, and Agile planningWrite clean, secure, maintainable, and well-tested codeParticipate in code reviews and mentor other developersImprove application performance, reliability, security, and maintainabilityContribute to CI/CD pipelines and DevOps best practicesContinuously evaluate new technologies and development practices that improve our productsTechnology StackOur team works with technologies including:C#.NET / ASP.NET CoreREST APIsAWS cloud servicesMicroservicesEvent-driven and asynchronous architectureMySQL and DynamoDBGitAzure DevOpsCI/CD pipelines Experience with additional programming languages such as Python is welcome but not required. Our primary development platform is C# and .NET.Note: We do not offer immigration sponsorship for any position at this time.QualificationsWhat it Takes:Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent professional experienceProfessional experience developing software applications using C# and .NETExperience designing and developing RESTful APIsExperience developing cloud-based applications (AWS preferred)Experience with microservices, object-oriented design, and modern software architectureExperience with SQL and/or NoSQL databases such as MySQL or DynamoDBExperience using Git and modern source control practicesExperience with Azure DevOps, CI/CD pipelines, or similar DevOps toolingStrong analytical and problem-solving skillsAbility to collaborate effectively within an Agile development teamExperience modernizing or replacing legacy applications is highly valuedExperience with FinTech, payment processing, banking, or financial systems is a plusAbout UsAt SC Data Center we pride ourselves on being a customer-focused organization dedicated to excellence in information technology, and contact center services.
