Generous PTO, 401K, Health Insurance Package Annual Salary Range: $85,000 - $150,000 In-Depth Engineering is seeking Systems Engineers to support our Aegis Ballistic Missile Defense (BMD) development efforts. BMD is the primary sea-based component of the U.S. missile defense system and integrates multiple capabilities through an advanced command and control system. As a Systems Engineers, you will perform requirements analysis and architecture and develop technical solutions to complex problems which require the regular use of ingenuity and creativity. The work is performed on-site at our customer site in Moorestown, NJ. Work schedule - Flex 4/10 Schedule or Flex 9/80 w/every other Friday off - or a straight 5/8. Qualified candidates must have an active DoD Secret Level Security Clearance. Duties Threat model development, data analytics, threat behavior analysis Gathering requirements, defining system functionality and developing system requirements Developing and executing test plans and procedures Troubleshooting, debugging and identifying solutions for system capabilities Taking ownership for increasingly difficult tasks, completing them on schedule, documenting results, and leading demonstrations Basic Qualifications US Citizen Active DoD Secret Clearance BS degree in Systems Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or related discipline 5+ years of related experience Proficient in the following areas: Linux, Bash scripting, xywuqvp MATLAB Algorithm design & development experience Physics background and Trajectory analysis Proficient in C++ and Python Desired Qualifications Master's degree or PhD in Systems Engineering, Computer Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Applied Mathematics, Physics, or closely related STEM field Strong research, analytical and problem-solving skills Experience with an Agile framework or Atlassian tools such as Jira or Confluence Experience working in a DevSecOps environment Experience with engineering tools such as DOORs, Git or Cameo Familiarity or interest in Model-Based Systems Engineering solutions
