Neonatology Physician

ATC West Healthcare Services is seeking a fellowship-trained Neonatologist to provide in-house overnight coverage in a Level III NICU. This is a temporary coverage need due to the resignation of an existing neonatologist, requiring 4 6 shifts per month. The role involves comprehensive neonatal care in a collaborative NICU environment. Dates & Schedule Coverage Dates: March 24, 2026 December 31, 2026Shifts: 4 6 shifts per monthSchedule: 7:00 PM 7:00 AMCall Type: In-house overnight coverage Job Details & Responsibilities Provide in-house neonatology coverage in a 15-bed Level III NICUAverage 0 4 admissions per day and 12 patients per dayAttend C-sections as requiredManage and coordinate neonatal transfersNo responsibility for Level I (Well-Baby) Nursery coverageWork within a team of 3 full-time, 2 part-time, and 4 contingent neonatologistsUse Cerner / Ecare / PowerChart for documentationFacility trauma designation: Level IIICoverage is locum/temporary Required Skills & Qualifications MD/DO, fellowship-trained in NeonatologyBoard Certified or truly Board Eligible in NeonatologyActive Michigan medical license (license in hand; no exceptions)BLS and NRP required (ACLS also listed in submission requirements)Clean background and recent NPDB self-query (within 1 month)Ability to commit to 4 6 overnight shifts per monthLocal provider preferred Credentialing & Administrative NotesEstimated credentialing timeframe: daysProvider availability and monthly shift capacity must be submitted upfront
