We offer:Flexible schedules & realistic caseloads so your work fits your lifeA collaborative team and dedicated administrative support, you can focus on building connections and helping families and children growCompetitive pay because therapists deserve itJust as every child deserves to be seen and supported, we believe our therapists deserve that same care, respect, and encouragement in their work.Overview:Tummy Time Academy is seeking an Occupational Therapist interested in a career that schedules around your life, works 1-on-1 with families, and brings out your inner child and creativity.Our dedicated admin staff alleviates the pressure of doing prep & paperwork at home, so you'll be able to focus on doing occupational therapy.As an early intervention OT, you'll be helping children ages 0-3 and teach families on how they can help their child achieve their established goals!What Your Day with Tummy Time Academy Would Look Like:Providing 1-on-1 occupational therapy to children ages 0-3 years old at their everyday settings (i.e. family's home, daycare, playground, library) using toys and routines at that location. Travel to location of session (family's home, daycare, playground, library). Reflecting with family on progress since last session. Observing & assessing your assigned child's skills to determine strengths/needs as it relates to their goal. Demonstrating exercises & activities for your assigned child by adapting play to focus on addressing concerns in fine motor skills, sensory processing, play skills, and regulation as it relates to their goal. Teaching & guiding families on adapting their play and problem solving on how they can fit these activities into their daily routines to assist with achieving their goal. Sharing and reviewing the session note with families using family-friendly language via provided technology and email at the end of session. Collaborate and meet with other professionals who are part of child's multi-disciplinary team to share quarterly progress reports and plan/update the child and family's occupational therapy plan as needed.
