This position is responsible for the coordination and organization of the Agency Supported Foster Care program(s). The Foster Care Specialist also supports Foster Parents well-being by providing resources, education/training, on-call support and face-to-face visits with both the foster parents and foster children. The Foster Care Specialist is expected to work in a collaborative manner with other company employees, as well as Case Workers, and other professionals using a team approach to provide quality services for foster parents and foster children at all times. The Foster Care Specialist will not practice or deliver services beyond the scope of their abilities or requirements.
