Special Education Teacher

Job Description Pathways is a small private day school serving special education students. The Jr. High and High School program is in need of an additional certified teacher to join our team. The home room case load is 8-10 students with some additional students being seen for a specific content area.Only special education certified teachers will be considered for this position.Responsibilities includeDevelopment of initial and annual IEPs as a contributing team memberImplementation of specialized curriculum (curriculum and training will be provided)Clear record keeping toward annual goals and all learning outcomesClear and regular parent communicationTeam collaborationDaily duty scheduleQuarterly progress reportsParticipation in all staff training and team building exercisesParticipation in quarterly school eventsSalary depends on experience and certification.
