Toyota Technician, Expert Certified, ASE Master Automotive Technician

Toyota Bountiful is hiring 3 Master Technicians to lead new service teams. Ideal candidates should have 5+ years of automotive mechanical diagnosis, problem- solving and repair experience. You'll need strong leadership skills while mentoring and teaching teammates; and a customer-focused attitude along with a high level of motivation and energy. **ASE MASTER TECHNICIANS or TOYOTA EXPERT CERTIFIED** Flat Rate $80k+ (experience based) 5 ASE certifications are preferred Five Day Work Week Master Technician/Lead Mechanic Duties: Diagnose and repair brake, exhaust, fuel ignition, and electrical systems Perform suspension and alignment repairs Sufficiently explain technical diagnoses and needed repairs to your Service Advisor. Provide an estimate of the time needed for additional repairs. Be prepared to review needed repair and test drive with customer as needed Constantly learning new technical information and techniques through formal training to keep up with rapidly changing automotive technology Pitching in with fellow mechanics in performing technical activities Coaching and mentoring newer Technicians to build stronger teams Maintain an organized and neat service bay Communicate directly with the Service Advisor so that customers are informed if any additional service is needed. Execute repairs under warranty to manufacturer specifications. Ensure that common courtesy is shown toward all customers you come into contact with While in the vicinity of the Service Drive, act as a secondary customer greeter to customers that have not yet been acknowledged Address all original customer concerns before moving onto additional sales Inspect every vehicle for additional sales opportunities ensuring that the vehicle is being maintained to the local area and factory recommendation Ensure the customers vehicle is returned as clean, or cleaner than when it arrived Participate in any Factory, or in-house sponsored training programs offered to you Complete all paperwork completely and correctly, then ensure all required shop forms are attached to the RO hard copy Perform any other duties assigned by the Service Manager or Assistant Service Manager.
