Press Brake Machine Set Up Operator

As a Press Brake Operator, you will set up, operate, and maintain press brake equipment to bend and form metal components with accuracy. Key Responsibilities Set up and operate press brake machines to bend and form metal components Read blueprints, work orders, and engineering drawings to determine specifications Select, install, and adjust tooling such as dies and punches Measure and inspect finished parts using calipers and other precision tools to ensure accuracy Make machine adjustments to maintain proper dimensions and tolerances Perform routine cleaning and maintenance on press brake equipment Follow all safety procedures and use required PPE Maintain accurate production and inspection documentation Work collaboratively with supervisors, engineers, and team members to improve processes Identify and report equipment issues, defects, or safety concerns Skills Press brake operation Mechanical aptitude Machine setup Caliper measurement Fabrication, troubleshooting, inspection, and general machine operation Top Skills Press brake Mechanical knowledge Machine setup Calipers Additional Skills & Qualifications Experience with Lean Manufacturing or continuous improvement is a plus Comfortable lifting up to 50 lbs Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing quality parts Ability to work independently and stay organized in a fast-paced environment Why This Role Stands Out This position offers the chance to work with modern equipment, sharpen your technical skills, and contribute to a team that values accuracy, efficiency, and craftsmanship. Job Type & Location: This is a Permanent position based out of Plymouth, MN. Pay and Benefits: The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $30.00/hr.
