This role assists the Maintenance department through maintenance observations, task digitization, equipment tagging, shop improvement projects, and maintenance data management within ERP/CMMS systems.This is an excellent opportunity for mechanically inclined candidates looking to gain hands-on experience supporting industrial maintenance operations in a manufacturing environment.Key ResponsibilitiesMaintain plant maintenance data within ERP and/or CMMS systemsSupport maintenance master data management for assets and spare partsAssist with storeroom and inventory management activitiesCoordinate spare parts supply and vendor interactions when requiredUpdate PM and calibration records based on maintenance team feedbackConduct maintenance task observations and time studiesSupport task digitization and shop improvement initiativesPerform in-field equipment tagging activitiesFollow all safety procedures and report unsafe conditions immediatelyMaintain accurate documentation and recordsRead and follow work instructions, procedures, and schematicsUse hand tools, power tools, and shop equipment safelySupport departmental goals through teamwork and collaborationRequired QualificationsHigh School Diploma or equivalentMust be 18 years or olderNo prior maintenance experience requiredMechanically inclined with willingness to learnAbility to collaborate with maintenance personnelBasic computer skills requiredStrong verbal and written communication skillsAbility to follow instructions and meet deadlinesAbility to work independently and in a team environmentGood attendance and schedule adherencePreferred QualificationsPrevious manufacturing or industrial work experienceVocational training or shop trainingHigh school technical/mechanical courseworkFamiliarity with maintenance or CMMS systemsBasic understanding of drawings and schematicsTechnical SkillsERP / CMMS systemsMicrosoft WordMicrosoft ExcelEmail and web browser usageDocumentation practicesPrecision measuring toolsBasic hand and power toolsPhysical RequirementsAbility to lift over 20 lbsAbility to work in an industrial/manufacturing environmentAbout Trident ConsultingTrident Consulting is an award-winning staffing and consulting firm headquartered in San Ramon, CA.
