Position Overview: Specialty: Internal Medicine - Gastroenterology Location: Near Williamsport, PA Start Date: ASAP End Date: Ongoing Coverage Type: Scheduled Clinical Hours Plus Call Practice Setting: Inpatient & Outpatient EMR System: Epic Job ID: j-244301 Responsibilities: Clinical Coverage: Provide comprehensive gastroenterology care in both inpatient and outpatient settings. Perform endoscopic procedures, including but not limited to colonoscopies and upper endoscopies. Call Coverage: Participate in on-call rotations, providing expert consultation and treatment for gastroenterology cases. Patient Care: Manage a wide range of gastrointestinal conditions and diseases. Round on unassigned patients as needed. Qualifications: Board Certification: Must be Board-Certified or Board-Eligible in Gastroenterology. Fellowship: Completion of a Gastroenterology fellowship is required. Licensing: Must hold an active medical license in the state of Pennsylvania. Certifications Required: Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) Basic Life Support (BLS) Hospital Privileges: Required, with an estimated credentialing timeframe of 45-60 days. Temporary Privileges: Not available.
