System Testing Analyst II (Hybrid)

DPP is seeking a System Testing Analyst for an opportunity in Columbia, SC.  Work arrangement:Hybrid, 2 days per week onsiteW2 position; 12 monthsSummary:his position is for a Test Designer responsible for reviewing business requirements, developing test plans, coordination testing with customers, defect triage, close collaboration with both our development teams as well as our customers.Top skills:Microsoft Windows products (Word, Excel, etc.)TEAMS Nice To Have: Claims Processing, membership, DB2, Quality Center, Azure BoardsMinimum required work experience:5 years of IT experience to include experience developing test plans and/or matrices.Job/class description:Provide service for multiple clients, including onsite service where needed. Make recommendations to clients on how to improve testing activities. Track quality assurance metrics. Participate in the design phase of projects to ensure that new or modified functions are developed using correct testing methodology. Arrange major activities between the client and IS staff to ensure maximum gain from technical resources. Complete supportive administrative and lead activities such as attending sessions with customers, planning and disbursing projects to team members, completing reports and developing processes. Perform testing duties which may involve reviewing test data, creating test cases, executing testing, and monitoring/documenting results. Ability to utilize test requirements, specifications, diagrams, logic functions, etc.Standard office equipment.Preferred knowledge, skills, and abilities:Knowledge of JAVA, Websphere, Windows, and other middleware platforms. Knowledge of DB2, Oracle, IMS, and VSAM. Skill in whitebox testing, integration testing, static testing, and 508 compliance testing utilizing JAWS software.Work environment:The position holds a critical role in the application development process; testing new or modified applications to make sure they will work in the client’s operating environment. Fast paced, multi-platformed environment which may require action and response 24X7 to support the technical business needs of the customer.Required education/equivalencies:Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or other job related degree. OR 2 years of job related experience plus an associate’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or other job related degree.OR 4 years of job related work experience Interested?
