This role focuses on CMM programming and inspection for complex 3D metal parts used in advanced systems.What You Will Do:Develop and maintain CMM programs, inspection plans, and inspection setupsTranslate engineering drawings into manufacturing and inspection documentationAnalyze process issues, manage non-conforming parts, and lead root cause & corrective actionsUse data (SPC, metrology) to improve process capability and prevent defectsSupport new product introductions and ongoing productionCollaborate with operations, quality, and cross-functional engineering teamsDrive continuous improvement and standardize inspection processesThis is 6 months Full- time- contract with possible extension opportunity.Required:Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Manufacturing, Industrial, Aerospace, or Electrical Engineering5+ years of relevant experience in manufacturing or inspectionHands-on experience with CMM programming and inspection methodsStrong understanding of engineering drawings and GD&T (ASME Y14.5)Desired Skill Sets: Experience with complex parts (4+ axis machining environments)Knowledge of Creo or similar CAD softwareFamiliarity with paint, plating, and assembly processesStrong problem-solving, organization, and communication skillsExperience with CORE / Six Sigma methodologiesYears of Experience Required (if any): 5-8+ years.Education level required:Typically requires/prefer a Bachelor's Degree in Manufacturing Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or Aerospace EngineeringPay Range: $65.00 - $72.00 per hour.Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc.Qualified candidates should APPLY NOW for immediate consideration!
