Job Details Position Type: PRN / Per Diem RN (Registered Nurse) Location: On-site - Cape May Court House, New Jersey (08210) Shift: 12-hour nights (telemetry nursing) Shifts per Week: 1 Contract Duration: 13 weeks Start Date: March 23, 2026 Compensation Estimated Weekly Salary Range: $660 - $760 per week Required Qualifications Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of New Jersey Minimum 1 year of clinical experience in a Med/Surg Telemetry (Med-Surg Tele) or telemetry nursing setting Basic Life Support (BLS) certification—American Heart Association preferred Strong clinical assessment, cardiac monitoring and communication skills Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary hospital team Key Responsibilities Provide high-quality, patient-centered nursing care in the Med/Surg Telemetry unit Monitor and interpret cardiac telemetry, assess patient conditions, and document clinical findings Administer medications and treatments safely and accurately as prescribed Collaborate with physicians, advanced practice providers, and the care team to develop and implement patient care plans Educate patients and families on illness, procedures, and post-discharge care plans Maintain a safe, clean clinical environment and follow hospital policies and infection control standards Complete timely electronic health record (EHR) documentation and handoffs Why Join Our Team This is a great per diem nursing job for an RN who values a supportive community hospital environment on the Jersey Shore.
