Engineering Technical Program Manager
For our client, we are seeking a Engineering Technical Program Manager to join the team of a leader in the Aerospace & Defense space.This role will lead technical program execution for complex engineering initiatives with a strong focus on risk management, design assurance, and cross-functional coordination. The ideal candidate will partner closely with design engineers, project managers, testing teams, and manufacturing stakeholders to strengthen decision-making and reduce technical risk. This is a hands-on opportunity to shape engineering outcomes in a highly regulated, innovation-driven environment.Location: Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship availableCompensation: $110,000 – $130,000 annuallyResponsibilities Perform risk analyses using FTA, FMEA, and HAZOP methodologies Ensure compliance with industry standards and corporate policies in engineering designs Develop risk mitigation strategies and design modifications to minimize hazards Collaborate with testing teams to verify risk controls are effectively integrated into designs Author risk management plans and analytical reports for stakeholders Serve as the technical advisor between design engineers, project managers, and manufacturing Mentor team members on risk analysis best practicesQualifications Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Aerospace, Systems, or Reliability Engineering; Master’s or Ph.D. preferred 5+ years in engineering design, systems safety, or reliability analysis in regulated industries Expertise in probabilistic risk assessment, Monte Carlo simulations, and reliability modeling software Experience analyzing complex engineering data for strategic decision-making in clear, non-technical language Willingness to travel 50% domestically and internationallyBenefits Remote work flexibility across various locations Opportunities for career advancement and mentorship Engagement in complex and innovative engineering projects Support for continuing education and further development opportunitiesOur client is an equal opportunity employer.
