Customer Service Representative

The Customer Service Representative (CSR) manages front-desk operations, including greeting customers, scheduling appointments, discussing recommended services, and coordinating communication between customers and technicians.ABOUT US: We are a busy, highly-rated, family-owned automotive repair shop dedicated to honest service and customer satisfaction. BENEFITS:·        Competitive hourly wage $18.00hr - $25.00hr based on experience·        5 Day Workweeks - Monday to Friday 9:00am to 5:00pm·        8 Paid Holidays ·        10 Days of PTO (After 90-day probation period) ·        Health Insurance·        Dental & Vision Insurance ·        401K Match ·        Short Term Disability ·        Paid Training ·        A team that wants to help you succeed ·        Family owned (No Corporate hoops to jump through) ·        Employee discount·        Family and friend’s discountRESPONSIBILITIES:·        Greet customers in person and by phone in a professional, positive manner.·        Schedule appointments and help manage the daily workflow of the shop.·        Create and update repair orders; maintain detailed and accurate customer records.·        Explain recommended services and obtain approval for estimates.·        Communicate with technicians to provide updates on vehicle status and timelines.·        Process payments and invoices. ·        Assist with customer concerns and escalate issues when necessary.·        Keep the front office clean, organized, and welcoming. REQUIREMENTS:·        High School Diploma or equivalent·        Valid driver’s license·        A minimum of 1 year of experience in a customer-facing role (automotive experience is highly preferred)·        Exceptional verbal and written communication skills with a focus on active listening and clear explanation of complex issues.·        Strong organizational skills and attention to detail for accurate record-keeping and billing.·        Basic computer proficiency; familiarity with automotive shop management software (SMS) is a plus.
