Orthopedics Physician Assistant

Specialty Group of Orthopedic Surgeons seeks to add a full-time experienced Orthopedic Physician Assistant. This Physician Assistant will support a Spine Fellowship-trained Orthopedic Surgeon in the clinic and in the OR. The Physician Assistant will run their own clinic and see new and follow-up patients. This practice consists of a mix of spine with occasional general orthopedic cases. Responsibilities include: pre- and post-operative H&P s, first assist, some injections, writing scripts, removing casts and pins, consultation and patient evaluation and education, and reviewing lab results in a clinic setting. They are located in a state-of-the-art facility that has EMR, Digital X-Ray and onsite PT/OT. The hours are Monday through Friday from 8:00 am to 4:30 pm with minimal call, weekends or evenings! Successful Physician Assistants must be NCCPA-Certified and have experience in orthopedics. The locations are offices within 25 minutes of the Hoboken, New Jersey area which offers easy access to culture, arts, great restaurants and universities!
