We have partnered with our client in their search for a Java Application Support Engineer in Wilmington, DE. ResponsibilitiesThe role is focused on: Vulnerability remediationFARM findingsBug fixesMinor enhancementsKeeping the application runningUpgrades such as Node.js / other dependency upgradesCurrent volume is very high: around 700 vulnerabilities opened in 3 days on the application.Estimated work split: Around 80% vulnerability/finding remediation and keep-the-lights-on workSome feature work or new development if capacity allowsPotential feature development on the newer events system if they move quickly through support backlog.Skills Required- any automation tool: selenium, uft - Expert level Jira - API testing - Jules, Jenkins - SQL Strong debugging skills. Knowledge of network protocols is important due to the type of application support. Strong communication skills because they will work across multiple teams.
