Accounting Analyst

Accounting AnalystThe position primarily supports and performs reconciliations, research, analysis and ad hoc reporting to functional team responsible for recording and reporting activities for the following accounts: Cash, Liability, Intercompany and Fixed Assets. This position provides support for period-end close requirements as well as internal and external audit requirements. Job duties include: Provide support to functional analysts' research and resolve discrepancies for intercompany, disbursements, expenses and cash functions Perform reconciliation work for intercompany, accounts payable and cash accounts accurately and in accordance with GAAP and company policies Support all aspects of Fixed Assets processing and financial reporting Assist with period-, quarter- and year-end close responsibilities to ensure adherence to reporting deadlines Facilitate with division contacts to ensure transactions are accurately recorded in general ledger in a timely manner Coordinate intercompany transactions between division contacts and functional teams Proactively anticipate potential issues to mitigate undesired outcomes Support internal and external audit requirements Assist with ad-hoc reporting and special projects as needed Qualifications/experience include: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or related field and at least three years of experience PeopleSoft experience a must, SAP experience preferred Must be organized and able to self-manage tasks simultaneously Self-directed but can work well as an effective team member in a high-paced, deadline-driven environment All your information will be kept confidential according to EEO guidelines.
