Sr Front-End Software Engineer (Angular/Node/NX)

Sr Full Stack Engineer (Angular/Node/NX)CGI is seeking to hire experienced Sr. Full Stack Engineers with strong expertise in Angular, TypeScript, micro-frontends, Node.js, and modern web application development. You'll work on large-scale digital applications, helping shape frontend architecture while designing and building scalable, high-performing, and user-focused solutions. This is a hands-on engineering role for someone who enjoys solving complex problems, adopting modern technologies, and driving engineering excellence. These positions are Full-Time, On-Site employment opportunities based in Plano TX and Cary, NC.Your future duties and responsibilities include:Design and develop scalable web applications using Angular 20+, TypeScript, RxJS, and Redux/NgRxDesign and implement micro-frontend architecturesBuild and integrate applications using Node.js, NestJS, GraphQL, APIs, and microservicesDevelop reusable components and frontend engineering patternsBuild solutions designed for high-volume, highly scalable environmentsImplement test-first development and automated testing practicesDevelop automated tests using Cypress, Playwright, Jest, and StorybookBuild and enhance CI/CD pipelines and deployment automationApply deployment practices such as feature toggles and blue-green deploymentsUse AI-assisted development tools to improve engineering productivity and code qualityTroubleshoot complex technical issues and perform root-cause analysisParticipate in architecture discussions, design reviews, and code reviewsMentor engineers and contribute to engineering standards and best practicesRequired qualifications to be successful in this role include:10+ years of software development experienceStrong hands-on experience with Angular 20+, TypeScript, RxJS, and Redux/NgRxProven experience with frontend architecture and technical design for complex enterprise applicationsStrong understanding of micro-frontend architectureExperience with Node.js, NestJS, GraphQL, APIs, and microservicesExperience with Cypress, Playwright, Jest, and/or StorybookStrong understanding of algorithms, data structures, and design patternsExperience with test automation and test-first developmentHands-on experience with CI/CD and deployment automationStrong troubleshooting and root-cause analysis skillsStrong communication and collaboration skillsAbility and willingness to work 100% onsiteDesired skills include:Experience with AI-assisted development tools such as GitHub Copilot, Cursor, Amazon Q Developer, or similar toolsExperience with A/B testing, feature toggles, and blue-green deploymentsExperience building high-volume, scalable enterprise applicationsUnderstanding of cloud-native and distributed architecturesExperience developing reusable frontend frameworks and shared componentsExperience in Financial Services or other highly regulated industriesEducation: Bachelors degree in computer science or closely related field.What you can expect from us:Together, as owners, let's turn meaningful insights into action.
