This unique opportunity offers unprecedented scheduling flexibility with potential for rapid growth and diverse clinical experiences. Work Environment This per-diem role involves completely flexible scheduling with no current set hours, focusing on patient needs across assigned zip codes. You'll provide clinical setups, troubleshooting, and patient support during both normal business hours and after-hours as needed. Key Responsibilities Conduct comprehensive patient assessments Perform clinical equipment setups Troubleshoot respiratory equipment Support after-hours patient needs Manage ventilator and VA setups Provide patient education Maintain accurate documentation Communicate with healthcare providers Qualifications Required: Active RRT, CRT, or RN licensure in Texas Valid driver's license with clean driving record High school diploma or GED equivalent Strong clinical assessment skills Excellent communication abilities Flexibility and adaptability Preferred: Home respiratory care experience Degree in respiratory therapy or nursing One year of related clinical work Experience with diverse medical equipment Problem-solving skills Physical Demands Lift and carry office equipment at times Requires close vision to small print on computer and/or tablet and paperwork Requires contact with patients and equipment with potential exposure to contagious pathogens Requires occasional lifting and transporting of patient equipment Requires sitting, walking, standing, talking and listening Medical evaluation and fit testing compliance in a timely manner Annual recertification Keep face clean-shaven to ensure N95 mask face-seal protection per OSHA guidelines
