Python Data Engineer

Job Title: Python Data EngineerLocation: Houton, TX 5 Days onsite roleLong Term ProjectJob Responsibilities:Design, Develop and troubleshoot Python based data pipelines for market risk analyticsImplement data quality controls and optimize performance for batch and near-real-time workflowsCollaborate with business stakeholders and quantitative analysts to translate requirements into technical solutionsAutomate workflows and contribute to coding standards, reviews and CI/CD processes.Participate in production support and incident resolution.Required:Bachelor degree in Computer Science, Engineering or related field6-8 years of hands-on Python development for data processing and automationExperience with data modelling. ETL/ELT pipelines, and operations monitoringStrong analytical and communication skills, collaborative approachExperience with version-controlled workflows and CI/CDPreferred:Proficiency in SQL (Oracle, SQL server, PostgreSQL)Experience in Databricks, Pyspark, or Big Data/Data Lake technologiesKnowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure), object storage and IAM basics.Familiarity with market risk concepts (VaR, Stress testing, sensitivities)Exposure to AI assisted engineering or agentic toolsExperience in Banking/Finance or Risk DomainsDiverse Lynx LLC is an Equal Employment Opportunity employer.
