We are looking for a Storage Engineer (Ceph) to join our client's team at a leading provider of high-performance edge and cloud solutions for the media and entertainment industry.Main ObjectivesJoin the Edge Cloud Team to operate, optimize, and innovate SDS platforms, ensuring high performance and reliability for Gcore's cutting‐edge cloud services.ResponsibilitiesOperating and optimizing SDS platforms, including Ceph and Linstor.Deploying, configuring, and rigorously testing SDS solutions in both production and staging environments, promptly addressing incidents and emergencies.Crafting and implementing comprehensive monitoring strategies for SDS storage systems to ensure peak performance.Exceeding SLA (Service Level Agreement) requirements for specific SDS deployments.Collaborating closely with the infrastructure team to design and implement efficient backup mechanisms.RequirementsA solid intermediate level of Linux proficiency with 4‐6 years of experience.Proven track record of successfully managing production Ceph clusters while meeting SLA commitments.In‐depth understanding of the S3 protocol and its associated features.Strong multitasking skills and effective time management abilities.Proficient English language skills at least upper‐intermediate level.CertificationsNo certifications required.BenefitsPrivate medical insurance for you and your family.Allowance for significant life events and birthdays.Language classes.Work from anywhere policy (45 calendar days per year).Equal Opportunity EmployerRSight is an equal opportunity employer and is committed to diversity in the workplace.
