Prepares food in compliance with approved menus provided by a Registered Dietician.Requests pre-approval for changes to menus to Health Coordinator before preparing.Makes sure all meals served meet USDA requirements in size and content. Maintains easily accessible file for children with food allergies.Keeps inventory of nutritional supplies and submit to Health Coordinator on monthly basis.Maintains cleaning of all food preparation equipment, counter top, stove, refrigerator, and garbage cans.Occasional duties of cleaning of toys, relieving staff for breaks, maintaining kitchen cleanliness and sanitation.Maintains communication with supervisor and parents.Completes First Aid and Infant CPR training as scheduled.Performs other related duties as assigned.Minimum QualificationsCompletion of a minimum of the eighth grade; Experience in food preparation and nutrition management services.
