MID-LEVEL BACKEND DEVELOPER

Job DescriptionAs a Backend Developer, you will be an essential part of our engineering team, responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining the backend infrastructure of our software applications. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality, scalable, and efficient solutions.Key ResponsibilitiesBackend Development: Design, develop, test, and maintain backend components of our software applications using cutting-edge technologies.API Development: Build robust and efficient RESTful APIs to support our frontend applications and third-party integrations.Database Management: Work with databases (e.g., MySQL, NoSQL) to design and optimize data models, ensuring data integrity and performance.Performance Optimization: Identify and resolve bottlenecks, improve system performance, and ensure scalability.Security: Implement security best practices to protect sensitive data and prevent vulnerabilities.Code Quality: Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code, following coding standards and best practices.Collaboration: Collaborate closely with frontend developers, product managers, and QA engineers to ensure seamless integration and delivery of features.Problem Solving: Troubleshoot and debug issues, as well as provide technical support and solutions for production incidents.Technology Research: Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies to recommend improvements and innovations.QualificationsBachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.At least 2 years of professional experience as a Backend DeveloperStrong proficiency in Laravel (PHP) and Node.jsSolid understanding of backend application architecture and design, particularly with LaravelExperience designing and implementing RESTful APIsHands-on experience with database systems (SQL and/or NoSQL), including data modelingStrong understanding of MySQL fundamentals, including tables, indexes, views, constraints, and relationshipsFamiliarity with version control systems such as Git or SVNKnowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) is a plusExcellent problem-solving skills with the ability to work independently and collaborativelyStrong communication and collaboration skills.If you feel that you are the right person for the job, please email your CV, a cover letter stating your salary expectations, and an example of published work to hr@trackerteer.com with “Mid-Level Backend Developer” in the subject line.Note: Office-based inside Clark Freeport Zone, PampangaLocation: Old - FPMI Building,New - HOCB Building,J.
