Description:
Kforce is seeking a remote Java Developer to join their team, supporting a large-scale, high-visibility digital platform. This team develops and enhances backend services that power mobile and digital experiences, with a focus on building scalable, reliable, cloud-based solutions.
Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and enhance backend services supporting digital and mobile applications* Build scalable solutions using Java and Spring Boot* Develop and maintain cloud-native applications and services* Collaborate with engineering, product, and business stakeholders to deliver new functionality and platform enhancements* Participate in an AI-forward development environment leveraging modern AI-assisted development tools* Provide technical guidance and leadership as appropriate based on experience level* Communicate effectively across technical and business teams
Requirements:
- * 4-10+ years of Java development experience* Experienced with spring boot* Experience with cloud (GCP required)* AI first development mindset (experience with tooling; Claude a plus)
