Warehouse CoordinatorFull-time. $19.00 an hour. Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Alabama medical, prescription, dental and vision insurance. Vacation and holidays. 401k retirement. The purpose of this position is to overseeing and managing daily warehouse operations, including inventory control, shipping and receiving.ResponsibilitiesOverseeing and managing daily warehouse operations, including inventory control, shipping and receiving.Essential FunctionsPull and deliver supplies, applications, merchandise, and related items to USSRC departments and gift shops in a timely manner.Stock supplies, materials, merchandise, and applications in the warehouse in a manner that optimizes spaceAssist with conducting periodic inventory counts in an accurate and timely manner.Maintain a clean organized and safe working environment for guests and employees.Meet or exceed the expectations of the Warehouse Manager/Warehouse Director with the accurate and timely completion of related tasks and assignments.This position requires the following physical requirements:Walking, climbing (stairs & ladders) to access other departments and buildings to deliver merchandise.Standing for long periods of time (4-6 hours) unloading stock and arranging in the warehouse.Pushing, carrying, and lifting items up to 50 pounds to shoulder height.Reaching, bending, and kneeling to stock, store, retrieving and deliver supplies, materials, and merchandise.Seeing, wrist movements and feeling to read packaging slips, to handle documents, carry merchandise, operate hand carts and to drive company vehicles.Talking and hearing to communicate with supervisor and other employees throughout the USSRC in person and over the telephone.Perform physical tasks including setup, breakdown, and relocation of furniture, equipment, and other objects.Supervisory Responsibilities Level of Supervision: NoneTravel Required NoQualificationsMust be 21 years of age to drive company vehicle.Experience 6-12 months closely related experience in an inventory environment OR an equivalent combination of education and experience.Must have a valid driver's license and a good driving record to operate company vehicles.Must have good verbal communication skills to interact with employees and vendors.Must be able to safely operate a Forklift and a Picker.Must be able to use a 101 key keyboard and have a basic understanding as well as Microsoft Windows.Required Education High School or G.E.D.Eligibility QualificationsMust be authorized to work in the United States.Work EnvironmentEnvironmental FactorsThis position involves working in a partially non-climate-controlled building that is dusty, noisy, and subject to changing temperatures and inclement weather. This position involves working outside in various weather conditions delivering items to USSRC departments.
