These individuals will lead crews in the field and play a key role in executing grading, drainage, excavation, and civil infrastructure projects with a focus on safety, quality, image, and efficiency.As an Equipment Operator Foreman, you will manage a field crew, operate key heavy equipment, and be responsible for coordinating onsite activity while maintaining productivity, communication, and high-performance standards.Key Responsibilities:Supervise a crew on grading, excavation, drainage, and site development projectsOperate core heavy equipment, including dozers, excavators, motor graders, pavers, and skid steersInterpret field stakes, project plans, and layouts to guide construction activitiesConduct equipment inspections and ensure preventive maintenance is performedMaintain schedule, safety, and cost efficiency on siteLead by example and foster a positive, accountable work environmentCommunicate effectively with project managers, inspectors, and field personnelSupport employee development and promote teamwork across the crew Position RequirementsMinimum Qualifications:5+ years of heavy equipment operation experience3+ years in a foreman or crew lead role (preferred)Proven ability to manage drainage, grading, and utility installationAbility to read plans, perform layout, and guide others in doing the sameStrong time management, communication, and leadership skillsValid driver's license and eligibility to operate a company vehicleFamiliarity with HCSS (HeavyJob) and Microsoft Teams preferred Additional Skills:Proficiency in basic math (measurements, layout, ratios, percentages)Understanding of job cost, safety compliance, and quality controlAbility to manage both day and night shift crews, as needed by project scheduleCompensation & BenefitsPay Rate: $1,200 - $1,600/week (DOE)Schedule: Day or Night shifts depending on jobsite location and needsBenefits Include:Medical, Dental, and Vision InsuranceSupplemental Insurance Options401(k) with 4% Dollar-for-Dollar MatchPaid Holidays, Vacation, and PTO/Sick LeaveBoot AllowanceOn-the-Job Training & Certification ProgramsEmployee Referral Bonus ProgramWhy Siema ConstructionAt Siema Construction, we live our mission: "Building Opportunity.
